WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE ENERGY OF THE LEADER OF 2019, THE PIG?
The Cycle of the 12 Animals of the Chinese Zodiac was created by the Lord Buddha on his deathbed. Each of these animals had made a challenging journey through his kingdom in order to pay their respect. Their reward was to have a year named after each of them affording them the privilege of demonstrating their own individual skills during the year of their reign. The belief is that a piece of their character resides in your heart according to the year you are born. This also applies to any given year as the ruling animal of that year will lead by example according to his characteristics
There is an expression “it’s like giving pigs cherries” referring to the greed of the pig. What in fact this expression is describing is the insatiable appetite of the pig, he always wants more and hence he is hardworking, determined, enthusiastic and reliable. If you give a pig a job to do, then you know he will complete it. For this reason, 2019 is a year of recognising your opportunities and seizing them with both hands as they rarely appear again. There’s no second chance with the pig as he will soon be off on the next project. For sure the pig has sharp eyes, eyes that will spot a business proposition before anyone else – and he has the confidence to act on it in his single-minded approach that never deviates off the path. Focus and achievement are his middle names.
Truthful, trustworthy and honorable are characteristics that are also high on his agenda. This is not a year for deceit or improprieties; on this the pig takes no prisoners. He has a nose that digs and digs until he gets to the truth of the matter, as he always needs to know exactly where he stands. Rose tinted spectacles can be thrown out of the window as the pig only deals in facts and not fiction. He likes the genuine article and never deals in fakes so anyone who has skeletons in the closet needs to look out. “As happy as a pig in muck” describes him to a tee, in as much as he is not afraid to get dirty in order to expose a misdemeanor. Honesty is the best policy for all in 2019 and always pay full attention to the small print by dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. The pig is a leader and an intelligent entrepreneur. He is social but because of his focused attitude he hates to waste time on trivia. Talk money and he will engage with you. 2019 therefore is a year for setting goals and staying focused on them in the sure and certain knowledge that the pig’s introspective attitude will help you to make more informed decisions. The last time the pig was in charge was 12 years ago in 2007 when a multitude of flaws were exposed in the banking world, the consequence of which witnessed a world recession and economic downturn like no other. The pig represents the direction of north west that is considered to be a position of authority. This area within a property needs to be respected, especially in building works. The ground must not be broken in the northwest when the digging commences. In fact, it is best not to break ground in 2019 in the northwest, southeast and west in order to avoid health issues, setbacks and arguments.

The pig is proud of his sexual prowess; it is therefore a good year for fertility especially for those animals who have a natural connection to the Pig’s energy: – The Tiger, The Rat, The Ox, The Rabbit, The Sheep.
